Nothing is written to the card until a manager confirms it. One note carries the company, the number with its line type, and the confirmed profiles.

What the ranking is, and what it is not

The match score answers one question: is this page about the same person as the card. It is record linkage, not a judgement about anybody. BizProfile does not score people, does not rank them, and does not keep a database of them.

What we never store

No name, email address, phone number, profile link or search snippet of a found person is ever written to our database or to our logs. Provider responses live for the duration of one HTTP request and nowhere else. This is a requirement of the Brave Search licence and the design of the product at the same time — the privacy policy lists exactly what the database does hold.
